Our students represent more than 140 nations. We speak more than 60 home languages, making Mather one of the most diverse high schools in Chicago. Our diversity enriches learning and prepares every student to thrive in a connected world. Through events like the annual Ethnic Fest, award-winning arts programs, championship athletics, and innovative academic pathways—including Chicago’s only Aeronautical Pre-Engineering program—Mather offers every student the chance to thrive.

I chose to become the Executive Director of JROTC to shed light on Chicago JROTC and the opportunities our black and brown students have. Through JROTC, they have access to unique experiences, leadership opportunities, scholarships, colleges, careers, financial savings, and so much more. We are building future leaders now and getting them ready to be successful now.
